What is Proofreading?
Proofreading is a meticulous search-and-correct review for typos, missing or incorrect punctuation, and spelling errors.
How much does Proofreading cost?
Proofreading costs just $2 per page for documents 10 pages or longer!
(For documents shorter than 10 pages, our minimum proofreading fee of $25 applies.)
What is Copy Editing?
Copy Editing includes proofreading plus a thorough examination of language and clarity of writing. An Editing Boston Editor will find and correct grammatical errors such as run-on sentences and sentence fragments, suggest where cuts can be made, and indicate where additional information is needed.

What is Content Editing?
Content Editing is the deepest of the 3 levels of editing and includes both a proofread and a copy edit, plus an in-depth examination of the ideas and arguments presented in the work. An Editing Boston Editor will read your writing wearing the hat of your toughest reviewer or audience member, looking for breaches in logic, incomplete or confusing descriptions and explanations, off-topic tangents, the chronological order of ideas presented - anything and everything that impedes the readability and comprehension of your work.
